Gather your ingredients:
- Fake chicken (I use Veat Nuggets; they work much better for this than Smart Chik’n for other recipes).
- Sun Luck Restaurant-Styled Sweet and Sour Sauce (this is much truer to the sauce that you get at restaurants versus Kikoman or any brand that uses ketchup as its main ingredient)
- Tempura batter mix
- Vegetable oil
