About

I love food and cooking and I find it extremely difficult to find vegetarian food that isn't wack ass shit that taste like paper. This blog chronicles my attempts at making foods, as well as some of the rad vegetarian-friendly places I eat at. Word.

Taco Tuesday at the Tin Hat
The Tin Hat (512 NW 65th St. Seattle, WA) is what you’d expect from a dive bar.  Crowded (depending on the day of the week) and complete with celebrity dopplegangers (lookalikes seen: Morrissey, Crispin Glover, Sean Nelson, William S. Burroughs, and Judah Freidlander) and college age cool kids.  Best of all, however, is the Tin Hat’s staff — who are down with the jokes — and the food.  Personally, I’m a fan of the Veggie Melt with tater tots and tot snot (a condiment that seems to be made up of tartar and hot sauce), but Tuesdays beckon the patented Taco Tuesday, in which people can buy up $.69 tacos by the boatful!  It’s like heaven on Earth.
